Eagle on Popover!
Nonni woke me up this morning to see this Eagle camped out on our reef boulder called "Popover" this morning, probably fishing.
It was unusual in that he usually sits in the tall Poplar tree to hunt.
(From Bear to Dad) Did our family go 50 years without seeing an eagle and now they are our new best friends?

Good observation! We all have moved closer to nature and value the visits of our wildlife. Seriously, it is a significant part of our quality of life now.
The pictures of your American Bald Eagle are just wonderful. Wow. And you caught it carrying off the rear half of a muskrat. Exciting.
Another observation ….. you and Kristin laughed when Mom and I got bird books as Christmas gifts. Clearly a sign of advance aging, you opined. Now, we all enjoy our sightings. Yesterday, Mom saw two White Winged Turtle Doves hunting for something under our grass.
