Scott's update and mission summary is a good wrap up of the mission …. so far.
Yes, Odysseus landed on the moon. Yes, it is on its side. No, there are not any of the promised color images of the Moon from the on-board cameras or the little camera that was supposed to get jettisoned just before touchdown.…. Yes, they are still expected. Fingers crossed.
Also still awaiting the images from a set of four cameras on the legs of the spacecraft that were to image the rocket’s plume impingement on the lunar surface as it touched down to determine how much dust and debris gets kicked up.
