Cosmic Conjunction: Jupiter Meets Venues on March 1st
Every 12 to 18 months, people start to notice those two bright stars next to the Moon.
How come they never saw them before? They’re not moons; they’re Jupiter and Venus, which get close to one another every year or so. This year, the two panels will be less than half a degree apart on March 1st, close enough to be seen together in a pair of binoculars.
